Microfiber introduction
Fiber: It refers to the fiber whose length is more than breadth of section and can be used for textile material.
Unit of measurement: The key indicator measuring fiber thickness is diameter and the unit is micrometer (mu). 1cm=10mm=10000mu.
For example, silk’s diameter is13-25mu. However, fiber is not always circular, but heteromorphism. Therefore, its thickness can
not be measured by diameter, but linear density, that is, grams of 1000m fiber. Its unit is tex and one tenth of tex is dtex. Smaller the tex,
thinner the fiber.
Fiber variety: Fiber has many kinds, like long fiber, short fiber, profile fiber differentiation fiber, special fiber and microfiber. Our

Microfiber is one high technical content fiber and one of symbols of the new generational chemical fiber products. Chemical fiber generality
says: Microfiber with linear density less than 0.11-0.55dtex is called minuteness fiber. In short, microfiber has main characteristics of low single fiber density, small density. Meanwhile, thanks
to thin single fiber, many impalpable holes shall be formed in products when lots of fibers piles together and fibers can be accumulated closer.
Therefore, microfiber itself and its products can show many unique quality performances as follows:
· Fiber’s degree of crook is showed by flexural rigidity. Less flexural rigidity, softer the fiber. Fiber’s degree of crook is in direct proportion to
its diameter’s fourth power. When linear density is down to 0.11dtex from 1.1dtex fiber density comes to one tenth of original one, while its
degree of crook is only one hundred-thousandth. Therefore, fiber’s softness is greatly increased.
Thorough cleaning
One of the great applications of microfiber is to make it to cleaning cloth, which gives full play to its high cleaning ability. When cleaning,
its single thin fiber can easily remove dirt like a sharp knife. What’s more, soft microfiber shall not scratch lens surface.
When fiber comes thinner, its specific surface area turns bigger, and more smaller pores are formed at the same time. Bigger specific
surface area can improve material’s moisture absorption. More important, it can greatly increase its capillary wicking ability which allows it
to absorb and store more liquid, water or oil.
This microfiber is only 0.1ddtex. Although it is very thin, it has tenacity. Its wedge-shape sectional polyester structure and starfish-shape sectional nylon structure can make it stretch to any uneven surface and thoroughly clean dirt. What’s more, soft and thin nylon shall
not scratch the surface of the objects..
With polyester and nylon as components, the microfiber has stronger frictional strength than nature fiber and regenerated fiber, so it is
not likely to fall off when used and shall not fuzz even after over 2000 times usage. Therefore, it can be washed repeatedly.
Usage: glasses, camera lens, jewelry, precise instrument, watch, musical instrument, lacquer, screen, CD, cell phone, high-grade furniture, glass ware, bathing and face, etc.
